Train- Amtrak, subway in NYC and metro in DC
Bus- Commuter bus and tour bus
Ferry

We took the Ferry (boat) from South Ferry to Staten Island and back.
We rode a couple of buses

I highly recommend bus tours of cities. It is such a great way to see the city, learn about it and get around.

It was fun to take so many forms of transportation all in one trip... I usually drive to work.
