Unsurprisingly, FIFA 18 has been a huge hit since it launched last week. As a result, the game claimed top spot in the UK Video Game Charts despite releasing on a Friday.
However despite it's strong sales performance, physical sales of FIFA 18 are said to be down 25 percent when compared to physical sales of FIFA 17.
It's important to note though that FIFA 17 released on a Tuesday last year which gave it a few days more to accumulate sales before entering the charts. FIFA 18 released on a Friday which has given it less time.
Digital sales are said to be up though with the sale of POSA (Point Of Sale Activation) cards said to be a leading factor in this. If you're unaware of what POSA cards are, they're the cards you buy in shops which contain a code that you enter to redeem the game.
Here's this week's Top 10:
FIFA 18
Destiny 2
Forza Horizon 3
NBA 2K18
GTA5
Crash Bandicoot
Project Cars 2
Uncharted: Lost Legacy
Lego Worlds
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
