I’ve heard the Tales series get recommended before. I should probably check it out now since I have no more Trails games to finish.

Trails of Cold Steel is where I started, but that was before Dawn came out on PC. This article helped me a ton when I was deciding in what order I should play.

I tend to lean towards JRPGs as they do a great job at storytelling and worldbuilding compared to Western games. Though, I think it’s a matter of taste and what kind of story you want to experience.

Yeah sometimes the romance can be hit-or-miss with JRPGs. I will say Kuro is pretty light on the romance element and doesn’t take up much time at all. But when it does show, it hits right I think. Awesome,
