Two days ago, a new account became active. The user goes by the handle @iflagshit; which is ironic because they seem to post an awful lot of shit.
And most of that shit seemed to be directed at just one account...
I've made it fairly clear in the past that @transparencybot is a very good thing for steemit, it means people can see exactly how much the original poster spent on votes, it's not an attack on people who use bidbots excessively - it only exists to inform so people can make an educated decision on whether the post deserves their upvote.
At first, I thought it was a flaghappy version of @transparencybot that flags spam, I found out about this account after I saw they'd flagged a transparency post - I thought it must've been in error. But upon close inspection I realised they'd only categorized
@transparencybot as spam.
With that in mind, I thought it was a ploy by the bidbot owners to protect their profit margins.
But reading through some of the highly desperate and unprofessional comments being spewed out of this account:
I can tell it's just an angry bidbotter who doesn't want his posts being soiled by the truth.
Or a troll...
All his upvotes are from bots and he was nuked with a @nextgencrypto flag!

Enter @abusereports.
We now have a linear attack that looks something like this:
Bid bots <-- transparencybot <-- iflagshit <--> abusereports
(He's not a spammer)
