This got me to thinking about my immortality. You see, 10 years ago, I never thought in a million years I would be sitting here writing this. I didn't think I would have the job that I do, living where here sounded by the people that I am. Was it fate luck and chance that got me here. No exactly, it was a series of choices that I have made, some seemed minor at the time while others I knew would be monumental. And then there are the choice I made without thought, which may be some of the most dangerous. If we can't do anything about our past, do we have the opportunity to change our future? Of course we do, we just can't expect it to happen overnight. If we are overweight, it's not because we ate a Twinkie and all off a sudden we weigh 500lbs.
"What would you do if you knew you could not fail?" I am not sure who the original author of this is, but I know I have heard different versions of the same thing as far back as I can remember. It is a simple question with a complex answer. It forces you to dive in deep, to the core of the answer asking why at least 7 times to really justify the answer. Otherwise, it's more of a knee jerk reaction to appease the inquisitive.
