On El Conde Street, in Ciudad Colonial, you can find several street vendors selling 'souvenirs' of all kinds to the tourists that visit the area on a daily basis. Since there are several inns and small hotels in the vicinity, this street has been for a long time a big sales spot for these people.
They are one of the many attractions to see everywhere on this popular pedestrian street in Santo Domingo, where you can also find all kinds of entertainers, artists, chess and dominoes players (the latter game is very popular in Dominican Republic), etc.
