I did not know this variety of dragonfly, which is very unique, as I have usually seen them with transparent or slightly iridescent wings. I am struck by that habit of turning its head to look at whoever is looking at it, it looks great .These photos are really nice, how nice that you have been gentle with it and released it into the wild.
