They learn that he stopped going to rehab in favor of attending services at a mosque. Furthermore, they are investigating someone who donated $500,000 to the mosque.
He and his girlfriend track someone to an abandoned warehouse and uncover the operation: “Brothers Watching Brothers” smuggles drugs from overseas, He sells them, and his launders the money.
Meanwhile, The person that smuggles drugs for them had an issue with his father, both professional and personal.
The ring donated to his mosque to buy his silence, then later killed him when he threatened to blow the whistle.
His discovered by the smugglers; his girlfriend is kidnapped while he was rescued by his father.
