Salt Water Point suggests a Fresh Water Point. But that's not how any of this works. Also the island is pointy on both ends, so who decided which end of the salt water surrounded points is the salt water point end? And then Salt Water Point isn't even on the point, it's on the side. Salt Water Side is still open for debate though, because all the sides are salt water. This is most concerning from a pirate's navigational aid point of view. I bet it was the bloody British that did this.
