Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by @tattoodjay, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start.
I will also try to #makemelaugh by @elizacheng
I'm trying to walk more as I'm diagnosed with Diabetes, and have to get my weight in order. So far I've lost 6kg from 106 to 100kg. But I have a long way to go to rid the fats.
First, I've been trying to grow my own food in my pursue of healthier liviing.
A pot of mostly Mizuna Lettuce, some Rocket and some chilli plants.. I've trimmed some for food :
Walked pass a chain of restaurants named Din Tai Fung, and the chefs are busy preparing their famous pork dumplings :
I was also at a local "coffee shop", an everyday "cafe" for us common folks :
Here you can see a "Dim Sum" stall, selling all their Dim Sum at S$1.30 each. Thats quite affordable. I packed some away for family to taste !
And as I left the coffee shop and walking to the bus stop to get home, my friend Bob aka @leetahsar want to to "feel" the tree.. he said he is a Tree Whisperer
And whilst cross the road using an overhead bridge :
We can see Tiong Bahru Park, setting up rolls of white beds apparently to allow people to grow and plant stuff there in the future.
And finally for the last photo
Buildings that are nicely placed in the neighbourhood.
Happy Wednesday Everyone !
