@sinistryIt's been a glorious season! I managed to barely squeak into champion 2 this time. For a while I was in the top 100, tagging position 67 at one point, but alas, as it goes, I didn't even manage to land in the top 150 after all was said and done.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my performance. I've inched a bit closer to that sweet spot of winning more than I lose, even though I'm still coming up a little short. I hope by the time win rate matters, after the new rewards update launches, I'm at least breaking even. I honestly love the idea that winning will factor in more heavily in DQ/EoS payouts, but I'm not at all enthusiastic about what that will do to my personal haul each season. It's fitting, but not particularly friendly to players like me who depend on luck to the extent I tend to. Case in point...

I hope the pressure of needing to win doesn't deter me from making the occasional bold move as seen above. A big part of the fun in the game for me is fun stuff like this that pays off.

I can't complain about rewards. In fact, I'm actually pretty ecstatic about pulling 7 epics. The 3 legendaries are nice, too! I'd like to have seen some of those listed under the gold foil category instead, but I'm not one to go around gift horsing people in the mouth, as the saying goes... or does it? Never mind. Let's move on.
