There's also a loyalty factor to consider. Many people will upvote their favorites out of habit. I upvote just about everything you put out whether I get a chance to read it or not because you're one of my favorite content creators on here, and I want to help ensure you keep putting stuff out, but you've never given me a 29 LEO upvote so now my feelings are hurt. ;P

Seriously, though, I have a couple of people who do the same for a couple of bucks a pop, which is the point to this whole rant, which is you don't have to put out pure gold if the bs you're shilling is appealing to someone. Just getting on here and hanging out and cutting up with friends can land you better friends (so to speak) with more weight to throw around.

I actually prefer this level of engagement. I rarely write a post that's worth writing, much less worth reading by others, I mean, hell man, we only get one life, but this way I get to hang out with the people I like or can learn something from without the pressure of needing to be the center of attention. I tend to do my best work from the sidelines, from where I can run onto the field long enough to score (or for shenanigans) and get my lazy ass back on the bench in time for the beer guy to come back around.

Posting is worth more money, but comments are worth more community recognition and acknowledgement unless you're jsut putting out stuff that wows and amazes everyone all the time.
