How long do you think it’ll work? When will enough people be engaged outside that system before it’s not worth it for the average joe to bother fooling with Gov payments? Will the eventual switch to a smart contract system for things like public records empower them along the way or are those shots fired that just add to the collective “thousand cuts”? I’m very interested in this. I don’t think there’s ever been a government that failed due to sheer obsolescence. It’s always corruption or conquered. On the other side of this I bet it’s gonna be hilarious to be able to watch it just suddenly disintegrate. I envy the inhabitants of 2550 for that.
