It started off looking kind of grim, since @masterthematrix actually filled all slots, but I have a lot of faith in my line up so I'm not too concerned about the shortage of teammates in the beginning...
And by the beginning of the second round I was already down a warrior (although it did do it's job, as I only put it back there as a meat shield anyway), but that was only the start...
By the end of round two I was looking to be doomed. I lost two more rear support cards before it was all done. This bad-ass mother freaker rolled up and smacked me around like a little bitch.
But I wasn't going out like that...
Even though round 3 began with little hope, I still held out a little, none the less, and for good reason... I've been in tougher spots.
Round 4 began with a a ratio of 4:1, but even so it began looking like it would be my round. By the time it was over I had taken out another enemy combatant, and was beginning to think I would win the day...
I began round 6 with only one health point remaining, but Byzantine Kitty is a fantastic summoner and healed Lord of Darkness back up to 4 health, and the race truly kicked off...
And then tragedy struck! I got so excited that they didn't have the attack power between them to take me all the way to zero I forgot it was a Knockout ruleset, and Dwarven wizard stunned me at the last possible moment to empower Divine Healer's attack to the strength needed to send LoD back to hell where he belongs.
This battle is the reason I'm about to go sit in the tub and open my veins. @masterthematrix, Enjoy your Quickening, you bastardhighlander. I'll be waiting for you in the afterlife. Be ready. ;P
