It’s not condemnation for a lack of interest in a particular thing. It’s condemnation for lack of interest in doing the work and bitching because they work too much for too little for someone else.

But it’s a fair point. Folks are free to slave and bitch all they like, I guess. It’s just that I always thought that the saying “it’s lonely at the top” was true because there were so few people there.

Now I’m beginning to realize it’s the other way around. There aren’t many people there because it’s lonely.

The amount of passion and dedication to a pursuit required to achieve success seems to be more and more isolating.

Oddly, though, you just wouldn’t think anyone struggling to make the rent would snub conversation about how easy it is for anyone to grow all the money one could ever need. My mind is officially boggled.
