Absolutely cool to do! When I post about a match that I’m particularly proud of, or brutalized in, I might shout out to the other player (if I remember) but as far as I know it isn’t expected or required.

Unless it’s done so in a disrespectful or unsportsmanlike way I can’t imagine anyone would find it problematic.

Post links to the post in the post promotion channel of the Splinterlands discord. Embed a link to the battle within it the post you’re promoting. In this case I’d edit just to add the link.

@clove71 (Hi Clove!) hangs out in the general channel and I believe is one of the main drivers behind the Splinterlands curation team and always super helpful. You can also tag posts like these with the SPT and Splinterlands and steemmonsters tags and they’ll show up in those communities where you can connect with others who, in my experience, are happy to guide and answer any questions.

Regarding summoners, that was the Bee Chat mention. Messaging here is still a work in progress so it’s a good idea to have a Discord presence for the time being.
