I get excited so I had to stop reading at “some regulation may be helpful” to chime in… if I realize you’ve covered it I’ll edit and amend, but…
I think the concerns you mentioned are very valid, but I believe going forward we will see a new version of the old, in that communities will be more heavily involved in the identification and “policing” for lack of a better word, of dangerous individuals and groups.
I think it’s all too clear that government prioritizes wealth extraction above all else and the pressure that has to build in order for a proposal for any change to even be considered will be put to better use when people just forget about asking Gov for help and we organize and handle it ourselves.
The SPK network released a post on this issue only a couple of weeks ago, so I’m optimistic that whatever negatives come with all this advancement will quickly be identified and hopefully neutralized as expeditiously. Time will tell.
