Hey guys! I'm about 9 minutes in and @bobaphet is talking about Lily, which brought to mind an aspect of the lore and art I really appreciate, but rarely consider, which is how dragon blood can manifest in any creature and changes that creature. Selenia looks human, not sure what Quix is, and now we have a dragon panda. I don't follow the lore, but I bet it's getting pretty expansive these days... brb.
Around 17 minutes @giotrix is talking about the hope for a feature that allows us to use a card at whichever level it is best suited for. I don't know how it would affect the time I have to pick a team if I have to go through and pick the level of each card I want to play after I've chosen it, but I totally agree it should be an option. Aside from the argument you're making about owning the card at every level, it also would unlock an entirely new dynamic to game play.
@xsuilx is spot on about that chicken. It was almost always my sniper bait in the old days before I got it up to attack level. I miss it. Fiends don't cut it for that particular type of meat shield.
Not long after that @mattclarke brought up the Sandworm's ability to totally wreck Tower Griffin, which also reflected back on what he was saying about a single card that seems designed to trump a specific other card or combo. In this case sand worm wrecked the only alpha card I play. Lightning Dragon used to be the end all be all of rear guard for me. She's fast, she flies, and she blasts mutha fuckas (Wuts up?!) all ruined by that gritty johnson, but it does seem to be one of my goto reverse speed picks if I have the mana for it.
I take issue with the comment around minute 27, when @xsuilx is talking about quora being cheap. All is fair in love, and war and finding those cheap shots that you can feel shatter your opponent's sanity are the best matches ever! I like to think that there are hundreds, nay thousands, of broken screens and smashed keyboards out there because I was clever. Plus, it's our job to find the things that break the game so they can slap another goddamn sandworm across our face. On that note, I'm gonna put a pin in this for a bit. Ttyl.
