I don't remember how many books he showed up in, but I think Kendermore was all about him, beginning from when all the companions split to go explore before they reunited in the inn in Solace on that fateful night.

It begins with a bounty hunter snatching him to take him home to marry. Kender had to make a law, because they were in danger of extinction because they forget to come home and reproduce.

I'd love to spoil the hell out of it, but it's better to just say there's a lot of classic Tas in it if I'm thinking of the right book.
