With all the claim from government regarding curruption status in Country this is not something expected however India slipped by 2 level and now ranked at 81 compared to 79 in 2016 according to list released by Transparency International.
2/3 of 180 countries included in survey scored less than 50 with an total average of 43.
Among south Asian countries Bhutan is ranked best at 26th place with 67 score.
0 is assigned for highly corrupted and 100 for corruption free.
Among all 180 countries New Zealand and Denmark topped the list.
Overall there is no sign of improvement in terms of corruption.
