Before the monday clash both teams had three points after first matchweek, where Crystal Palace beat Fulham FC (2:0), while The Reds won against West Ham (4:0). In the first half Liverpool was prevailing, but The Reds couldn't take advantage of Crystal Palace defence mistakes. The score was open in 45' min. after Sakho's tackle on Salah. In the second half The Eagles had good oppurtunity to score from free-kick, great shoot from Luka Milivojević, didn't suprised Alisson Becker who defended it with style. Eighteen minutes before the end Wilfred Zaha had good situation, but he shot directly in goalkeepers position.
This victory made the boys from Beatles city the sixth team which achieved six points after firts two matchweeks.
