I just recently got back from a short trip myself and I think I wouldn't really understand how much I needed this getaway till I got that getaway!
Travelling can serve different aspects to different people. And depending on what we desire we plan our travels accordingly.
For example one person leads a very busy and active life...always on the run - they might want a relaxing, peaceful few days and pamper themselves to reset. On the other hand, someone who is always at the office, living a more sedentary life might look to get out in the sun and the wilderness and experience some adventurous thrill!
And meeting new people, making new connection while on the journey is always an added bonus. It serves well to know people in different places, at different positions. Everyone has something to offer, some lessons to be learned.
