The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there at all

It probably has something to do with having to care for the animals besides making and serving coffee. Not everyone likes animals unfortunately. And so, if that's the vibe you got, you can be sure they are treating the rabbits the same. I love rabbits and this makes me sad. I had a few rabbits myself when I was younger.

I have never been to an animal cafe before, I didn't even know such existed. I think I would quite like a cafe with rabbits!
