I have slowly been getting back up to date on HIVE and the crypto markets overall. Boy! Why so much blood on the charts!?
Well, that's the general sentiment at least. But BTC has in fact stayed pretty strongly above the doom and gloom of last year's extreme lows. Our dear beloved HIVE on the other hand has been taking a strong hit. Makes me kinda regret not selling all my liquid HIVE around 48 cents at the last pump. I was watching the charts and I thought "This is it! We're breaking 50!" Joke's on me then eh!
When HIVE takes a hit, the second layers on the chain all be like...
Speaking of second layers, let's get the pleasantries out of the way first shall we?!
This takes me quite close to 10k LeoPower. Not sure what I will do with all that stake because I am not actively curating these days much, but we'll see.
My HP however is pathetically far from where I had targeted to be at, but at least my daily curation rewards is constantly knocking on the 4 hive/day door which is a pretty decent sight to look at!
This kept somewhat steady growth of my HP despite me going on sabbaticals every now and then!
Anyways, enough jibber jabber! Back to the sorry looking hive charts! It's not all bad though! While I don't get good swing trades on binance when the market stays down or keeps going down, it does give me a chance to play around with my HBD to trade HIVE on the short term to bypass putting HBD into savings for that 20% APR and try and see if I can get that 20% in a month instead of waiting a whole year for it!
PHEW! That was a LONG sentence!
Spoiler alert - I have already replicated that 20% APR twice in the span of 6 months! Target is to do it twice more and I will have made 4 times what I could have made had I kept my HBD in savings. We'll see!
This is a safe bet to me because buying HIVE below 40 cents is a bargain no matter what the market conditions are. If you keep an eye out on binance, or upbit or whatever exchange you use - you will see HIVE doing regular 10-20% pumps. Only question is how far below 40 cents you want to buy. This time around I got in at 37 cents (although I wanted to get in at 35 cents), so if I manage to sneak in a sell at 45 cents I will have my 20%. I have my order sitting nicely at 46 cents.
Fingers crossed! And for heaven's sakes this goddamn market - MOVE!
