I know what you mean by lost cause I wonder how many animals could of survived but yet the vet's often encourages you to put them to sleep, I have had a few pets myself where I was told it's best to put them to sleep and they were so wrong as the animals still survived for a number of years after without pain, thank you for your work and not giving up.
