I want to share with you a recent experience I had with mine.
My husband has a Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck, which he converted for transportation, since the situation in the country is quite tough.
After making these arrangements he formally registered it with a transportation company and was assigned to work for an indigenous community that is relatively close to where we live, about 45 minutes away.
The community is called Mapiricurie.
Sometimes they ask for support to provide transportation to other neighboring indigenous communities such as Maremare, Tascaba帽a, Cachama.
My husband always tells us some anecdotes about the events that they usually do in their community.
Soon I will tell you about a recent one.
He has become quite integrated with these people and they trust him a lot.
Since it is a remote, isolated territory, it only makes two trips a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
So one afternoon he told us: let's take the passengers, because today there are not so many.
Well let's go we said, and so we observed how is the road and the town.
I, for my part, said: This way I can take pictures for the Hive.
We got ready and left, the afternoon was super beautiful, we left with a radiant sun and I thought I was going to be able to take pictures of the landscape, of the sunset, and it turned out that when we were on the road it started to rain very hard, so much so that we could not even open the windows all the way.
I said to myself, "Oh, it can't be! Just today that we went out to see this town and enjoy the scenery, it's raining so hard!
But, when we were on our way back, the rain stopped a little and we were able to observe the landscape a little.
On one occasion, although it was still drizzling, we got out of the truck to look at the saques, places where they take sand for sale, this is one of their main sources of income, and we took the opportunity to take some pictures, the rest, we took them from the truck.
Although it was not what we expected, I can say it was a pleasant experience in the sense that we shared some family time.
And without a doubt it will leave us with fond memories, but also good life lessons, because we were able to observe first hand the day to day life and all the effort that our head of household makes to bring home the sustenance.
And in fact, when we were on our way back on the highway I told him that I was very grateful and that I really appreciated what he does for the family.

Despu茅s de hacerle estos arreglos la inscribi贸 formalmente en una l铆nea de transporte y le asignaron trabajar para una comunidad ind铆gena que est谩 relativamente cerca de donde vivimos, a unos 45 minutos aproximadamente.
La comunidad se llama Mapiricurie.
A veces le piden apoyo para que haga transporte tambi茅n a otras comunidades ind铆genas aleda帽as como: Maremare, Tascaba帽a, Cachama.
Mi esposo siempre nos cuenta algunas an茅cdotas o de los eventos que por lo general ellos realizan en su comunidad.
Pronto les contar茅 de uno que hicieron reciente.
脡l se ha integrado bastante a estas personas y ellos le tienen bastante confianza.
Por ser un territorio retirado, aislado hace solamente dos viajes al d铆a uno en la ma帽ana y uno en la tarde
as铆 que una tarde nos dijo: vamos a llevar a lo pasajeros, porque hoy no hay tantos.
Bueno vamos dijimos, y as铆 observamos c贸mo es el camino y el pueblo.
Yo por mi porte dije: As铆 aprovecho de tomar fotos para el Hive.
Nos alistamos y nos fuimos, la tarde estaba s煤per bella, salimos con un sol radiante y yo cre铆a que iba a poder tomar fotos del un paisaje, del atardecer, y resulta que cuando 铆bamos en el camino comenz贸 a llover muy muy fuerte, tanto que no pudimos ni siquiera abrir las ventanas en todo el camino.
Yo dec铆a dentro de m铆 隆隆 Ay no puede ser!! 隆Justamente hoy que salimos a conocer este pueblo, y disfrutar del paisaje, llueve tan fuerte !!
Pero, cuando ya ven铆amos de regreso ces贸 un poco la intensidad de la lluvia y pudimos observar un poco el paisaje.
En una oportunidad aunque a煤n estaba lloviznando nos bajamos de la camioneta para asomarnos en un alto, y mirar los saques, son lugares donde sacan arena para la venta, esta es una de sus principales fuentes de ingreso, y aprovechamos de tomarnos unas fotos, las dem谩s, las tomamos desde la camioneta.
Aunque no fue lo que esper谩bamos, puedo decir fue una experiencia agradable en el sentido de que compartimos un rato en familia.
Y sin duda nos va a dejar gratos recuerdos, pero tambi茅n buenas lecciones de vida, porque pudimos observar de primera mano el d铆a a d铆a y todo el esfuerzo que hace nuestro cabeza de hogar para traer el sustent贸 a casa.
Y de hecho, cuando ven铆amos de regreso en la autopista le dije que estaba muy agradecida y que valoraba mucho lo que hace por la familia.
