Our favourite entrepreneur, business man, all round super awesome guy has made a wager with the South Australian Government but before we get into that here's a little back story.
In September of last year, the state of South Australia suffered a massive power outage for it's 1.7 million residents due to a severe storm and of course politicians took this as the perfect time to attack SA's renewable energy policy but what they weren't betting on was that Tesla's own battery boss, Lyndon Rive, was watching.
Mr Rive said he could fix SA's power outages that had been increasing in frequency since the storm and when Mike Cannon-Brookes, Australian born billionaire, retweeted Elon Musk about how serious he was? Elon tweeted back.
"Tesla will get the system installed and working 100 days from contract signature or it is free. That serious enough for you?"
Well that brings us to now and just a few days ago SA and Tesla signed the contract. Elon is putting his money where his mouth is and is going to build the biggest lithium ion battery in world by a factor of three. When the 100 days is to begin is yet unconfirmed but they believe that the project will be completed by Dec 1st 2017

What your thoughts? Will Elon complete in time or is he dreaming? Is even the right path to be taking
