Perhaps the most beautiful butterfly you could find in Israel, is the Swallowtail.
Two or three sub-species of them live here, but there is only one that lives in my area.
The swallowtail butterfly lays its eggs on the rue plant, and I always make sure to have one in my garden.
I only had my cellphone to capture the images of this beautiful, beautiful female coming to lays her eggs.
And even during flight! :)
