There are several species of Cyclamen in Israel, and those photos are of the first one that appears right after the first rain of the winter and is marking the beginning of the winter.
The species that appears at the end of the winter has very large leaves and small flowers, and some people use it's leaves for cooking.
Those photos were taken today, in the Nazareth mountains, Israel.
