Empathy is key, to ending hunger and pain,
With open hearts, we'll break the chain.
If we would look, beyond ourselves,
And see the plight, of those on shelves.
With every act of kindness,
Suffering will be less in blindness.
When we show, we care and feel,
A better world is what's real.
With every meal, and every bite,
We hold the power, to make it right.
So let us open, our hearts and mind,
And leave no one, behind.
So let us strive, for empathy,
And see an end, to hunger's tragedy.
For in compassion, lies the key,
To end all suffering, and set all free.
I have decided to try poetry again.
Since the last time I wrote on hive some years have passed, but on the link below you can find other poems by me from 3 years ago.
