Hi friends! How's it going? I finally had a weekend free from work, and I dedicated myself to one of the greatest passions I have, that of walking in the midst of nature. In fact, in today's post I take you virtually to Lake Tovel, a beautiful lake located in Trentino Alto Adige, is that in this period the woods around the lake are taking on a particular colouring.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Lake Tovel is located in the valley of the same name, right at the entrance to Val di Non, another very famous valley in Trentino Alto Adige, where the production of the famous apple is concentrated, a product that is marketed all over the world.
We are practically inside the Adamello Brenta National Park. Right inside this park is this small alpine lake, which is definitely worth a visit, especially in the autumn season when there is the characteristic foliage.
When I come to these parts, I always try to make the little path that runs along the lake, this time it was full of fallen tree leaves, because this year, the foliage is far ahead of schedule probably due to the heat.
What I found in front of me was a breathtaking view, difficult to describe in words in this post, every time I see this lake it's a bit like the first time, it gives me so many emotions.
The only negative thing if we really have to find a negative thing, in front of this wonder is the fact that the water level was really low, this because of the continuous drought that is still affecting Italy and therefore also Trentino Alto Adige.
During my walk, I came across a small hut, inside the woods, which overlooked the lake, very nice I must say that the owners who probably use this place for vacation are very lucky to have it.
I can really confirm that this place is really a paradise for foliage lovers, for the many photographers who go in search of these places, this is certainly indicated.
From my point of view I like it more than anything else because you are completely immersed in nature.
A peculiarity of this alpine lake is that it is always cold here due to the fact that the lake is located at about 1200 meters above sea level.
The group of the Brenta Dolomites which are these mountains that you see here around the lake were included in 2009 among the World Heritage Sites protected by Unesco.
For me, this remains the most beautiful lake in Trentino, the most spectacular from my point of view, except that I have never been able to bathe in it due to the fact that the water is truly frozen and it takes a lot of courage.
Since I was in the area, and that a friend of mine had told me about a new panoramic terrace, which they installed near one of the most important villages in the Val di Non, which is Cles, I went for a ride to see the view. and so I share below the photos I took of this lake which is however the lake of Santa Giustina lake as you can see from the artificial images.
Among other things, from this panoramic terrace you can also see the beautiful castle of Cles which I have never visited.
But while I was in this panoramic terrace, a kitten arrived and posed for a photo, I was in love with him I almost wanted to take him home !!
But then it occurred to me that I already have so many that it is right that he is in his environment.
