Yesterday I finally managed to see the famous Rion Tomb for the first time after I had been planning this trip for a long time. Perhaps for many of you it is not a very well known monument, but for those of you who have studied art like me and are experts in architecture, it is a very important funerary monument found in Italy.
These two circles were not made by chance, in fact, and represent the two wedding rings of the two spouses.
One of the most famous architects in Italy who has designed many works, including many museums, is Carlo Scarpa, and it was here in the cemetery of San Vito di Altivole, in the province of Treviso, that he commissioned this important tomb, which would later become one of the most visited points of interest in the area.
This one you see in the photo and the famous industrialist's tomb that was commissioned to Carlo Scarpa by his wife, was a very important industrialist in the Treviso area, who had a company that produced radio equipment, but the very particular thing is how made this tomb, which is why today it is much visited and has been given to the file which is an Italian Environment Fund that takes care of its enhancement and care over time.

Carlo Scarpa began the construction of this tomb in 1969 and worked on it until 1978 when the architect who was in Japan for work reasons died.
The architect Scarpa wanted to be buried right nearby, this tomb, in this small cemetery which is located near the beautiful village of Asolo known all over the world.
As you have noticed from the photos, this funeral complex leaves you a little shocked when you see it from the outside, because there is like the impression of being inside a bunker, but then as you have noticed in the other photos, there are gardens and flower beds that make this place more beautiful and harmonious.
It was a really nice experience to visit this place because in my opinion it is also a place to come and meditate but as I noticed many students come here who study architecture a little to understand how Scarpa thought.
