I recently shared that I’ve started crocheting again after many years, and I’m really excited about the possibilities of creating things I’ve never made before. This time I decided to try making hair accessories.

I started with a crochet bandana because I’d been wanting to wear one for a while. I had never made anything like it before, so I looked up a tutorial on YouTube and fell in love with this heart-patterned design. I didn’t have the perfect type of yarn on hand, so I used what I had at home, which made the piece a bit heavier than ideal, but I still loved how it turned out. I think it looks beautiful.

Another thing I recently made was a set of hair clips. For these, I came up with the pattern myself, experimenting as I went along to see what worked best. I used synthetic yarn because I wanted them to have that fluffy, cozy look. Then I finished the pieces by embroidering little flowers on top. I should probably mention that I had never embroidered anything before, this was my first attempt, so please don’t judge me haha.

Finally, I took some nice photos of the pieces, and here’s the result.
I hope you like them and see you next time.
