In the last week of 2022 I spent a few days on a farm in the region of Pedreira (SP). This isn't exactly a touristy place, but I can say that it was a memorable experience for me.

A friend needed reinforcements for the lychee harvest and I offered to help and also get some extra money. I had never done anything like this before and this kind of work is very different from what I normally do every day (spend all day in front of a computer screen). So I was a little apprehensive about doing the heavy work. But despite the already expected physical fatigue, everything went well and I managed to get through the day's work.

The body was exhausted, but my mind rested. Especially for staying a few days immersed in such a beautiful, bucolic place without any internet signal.

With christiantatsch@christiantatsch, I went out to explore some mysterious places on the property, like this old manor house (which has a horror movie vibe), and the destroyed chapels on the farm. I did a post talking exclusively about chapels here.

I'm already looking forward to new adventures like this.
