Happy Wednesday to all Hive people!

Some days ago (maybe 3-4 weeks ago, at the end of the total lockdown in my country) I started a large painting on paper. After a couple of layers of white tempera I gave on the paper to make it less absorbent, I used oil colors to work on the 2 human figures.

Today, during the pause from the work in the bookshop, I thought it was time to continue that artwork and so here I am.

As you can see in the pic, I placed the large sheet of paper on a easel in my lab. I use a small table (an old Ikea table that I use to work on the smaller paintings on paper) to place brushes, the turpentine in a glass jar and the palette.

Today I had few time to work on it and so I just worked in some shadows on the face of the first subject:

I hope to have more time to work on this painting in the next days, because I really feel the need to watch it finished.

I have an idea about the final result of this one, but sometimes it happens everything changes at the end, so stay tuned to see what it will be at the end ^_^

See ya soon and stay safe,

Silvia
