Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! A new working week is just started and I hope you spent a nice, relaxed weekend!
Another sunny day here in my area and my mind is full of new ideas after the many free sketches I made on my sketchbook during these days and thanks a lot of inspirations came to me during the visit to the lab of our friend who is a graphic designer. Leaving my hands free to run on the blank pages I can improve my imagination and my techniques too, so I started to use different media on the same painting. The one you can see in the following pics is a sort of prototype where I used oil colors and ink (I used an old nib _ ):
As you can see, the subject is a figure with no hair and a striped shirt. I painted the background and the figure using oil colors. When it was dried enough, I added some fish around the head using the nib and the ink. I like the effect and I'll paint some other similar ones._
This piece is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process:
