An happy Wednesday to you all!
It's raining hard here today, but it's no cold so I'm working on my artwork close to the opened window, under the natural light (that's my favorite way to work on my paintings _ ).
Today I woke up soon in the morning and after a fast breakfast (a cup of good coffee and some cookies) I started to work on a new oil painting on paper. I just finished that piece and so I can show you the final result:
A detail of the artwork:
You know I love to focus my imagination on the hair of my character that become animals, tiny scenes and other things. As you can see, the subject is one of my usual character with a very "special" hair style. The white hair of the woman is in form of a goose.
Geese are common bird in my area and in my city there is a large park where some of them live free. Some times I go there to watch them and other kinds of birds and ducks, it's really a beautiful place (even if geese are not always so friendly _ ).
Geese also reminds me some fairy tales and also a song I love, Mother Goose by Jethro Tull. _
This piece is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I love to do, I also took some pics while I was painted this new artwork so you can see the process:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom)!
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
