An happy Thursday to all hivers here!
Another cold day here and the sky today is full of grey clouds. This morning I wento to visit my friend Margarita, not so far from my home. Between cups of good hot coffee and cookies, we talked about some creative projects to do together inside her cozy kitchen. I spent an awesome relaxed couple of hours with her and while I was walking along a tree lined street to come back at my home, I collected some fallen leaves.
During this time of the year the trees are giving us a wonderful show thanks the beautiful shades of colors of the leaves and along the tree lined streets or in the garden there are wonderful "carpet" of fallen leaves. 馃崈
I love to collect leaves fallen down from different trees to study their shades of colors and to create small scenes using them with my tiny paper houses.
In the following pics you can see how I play with the leaves I collected this morning:
This is a kind of exercise I use to do to improve my imagination and to understand how a mix of different things could work for my paintings. It's also a nice way to play with my inner child. 馃榿
Now I have to come back to my brushes and colors and I have some nice ideas for my next pieces too. 鉂わ笍
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
