Today, the June 21th, is not "just" the start of the Summer, but for me and for my hubby 
Five years ago, after one year we lived together, my hubby asked to me to marry him and sure, I said yes! I have to say I cried when I received the marriage proposal, because everything was so romantic and full of emotions! We were at home, I was sitting in quiet on the sofa when he watched me taking out a little blue box from his pocket. I had no words for some seconds, because it was unexpected! Sure, I immediatly said yes and when I watched the wonderful ring in the blue box, I started to cry because I was too happy!
To organize the wedding was simple, more simple than I thought, becaue we wanted an easy and fast ceremony and a party to celebrate this days with family and friends!
I chose a pink dress and I had a bunch of pink roses. In the previous pic you can see me and Paolo with (at the center) the councilor who married us in the Municipality's Palace. In the other image we are cutting our wedding cake. ^_^
My mom (like the family of Paolo) was so excited for the wedding and she decided to give us a lot of things to eat! At the start, I wanted a simple buffet, something good to eat and to drink to celebrate the day in a easy way, but my mom thought the food was not enough and so she added a lot of different plates, too much plates. Just to know, after that day, we ate the same food for other 3 days ^_^
In the following pic you can see us with my parents and, the the second image, the father of Paolo, one of the sisters of Paolo and the wife of the Paolo's dad.
After the party we went to house of the mom of Paolo, because she was very sick and she couldn't be with us during the ceremony. Even if she started to miss her memories (sometimes she didn't recognize her relatives, son and daughters included), she was happy for us and we were happy to see her in a happy mood.
It was a great day, a day full of love and today we are happy to say we love each other every day like the first day!
