Yes the texture of the paper give more profondidad! Usually I paint on canvas or on smooth paper (I like to use oil colors on smooth paper because it give me the result I want for my illustrative painting),

Yes, back in the 1300s it was a long way, but the rich family of Florence like the Medici had very fast horses because here they took the political and economic control of my city during those years. 😁
