An happy Sunday to you all!!! Today is a special day for me because it's my birthday and not just an ordinary birthday: I just turned 50!
Yes, now I'm a 50 years old woman, an half century on my shoulders. "Half century" sounds better than "50 years old", right?
To be honest,I think there are not so much differences between 49 and 50 years of age. The same white hair (hidden thanks the hair dye _), same old bones that feel the humidity in the air, same thoughts and the same inner child who loves to play with colors and brushes. Maybe I will be more wise than before? I don't know._

Cause the covid restrictions we couldn't do nothing special out of home, but every day could be a special day when you're with your better half and when you received some tasty gifts like a good italian cheese, tuscan salami and other good italian food my best friend Elena gave me and also a thing I love so much (that's not so typical in my country :P ) as the peanut butter my hubby bought yesterday!

Buona Domenica a tutti! Oggi è un giorno speciale per me, perchè è il mio compleanno and non solo un comune compleanno, ma il mio cinquantesimo!
Sì, adesso ho 50 anni, mezzo secolo sulle spalle. "Mezzo secolo", alle mie orecchie, suona meglio di "50 anni", ma la sostanza non cambia. :P
Ad essere onesta, penso non ci siano grandi differenze tra i 49 ed i 50. Gli stessi capelli bianchi (nascosti grazie alle tinte :D ), stesse vecchie ossa che sentono l'umidità nell'aria, stessi pensieri e la "fanciulla" dentro di me che si diverte con colori e pennelli.
Io e mio marito abbiamo celebrato il mio compleanno nel nostro modo preferito: un rilassante pomeriggio dopo un buon pranzo (e tempo che per cena mi prenderò direttamente il digestivo!). Una carissima amica mi ha fatto un regalo speciale: tanti buonissimi salumi e formaggi e praticmente sto sbocconcellando da stamani! Se tanto mi da tanto, dopo i chili presi durante il lockdown dovrò smaltire pure quelli presi tra Natale ed il mio compleanno. _
