Do you know we have cougars!!😳
As I started today’s hike, I passed the tiny house, and Tara the wife was taking care of a pen full of geese!😊
When we first moved up to the Cascades over 20 years ago, I had no idea that I needed to be concerned about cougars. We had lived in the high country of Colorado, I thought we had seen everything LOL!🤣
Two years ago in the snow we were following a pair of cougar tracks. Suddenly we discovered that the tracks ended, and it appeared the cougars were following us!😲
Tara said that she puts the geese up every night in a locked pen, and during the day they are surrounded by an electric fence.
That’s very good to hear, we now have two neighbors that not only have pets, but also small children!
Cougars usually want nothing to do with humans………. Usually!😯
I hiked up to the high trail, and then onto sleeping Bear Hollow, where I ran into this little guy! I almost stepped on him, then another Snake!LOL!😳
What is it with Snakes today…..Silvertop is not a fan of Snakes, just ask 
Clouds, but no rain……….
I left my ASIC miners running on Solar…..
I think I need to hike a bit faster today just in case I need to get back home and unplug the miners!
Finally I crested the ridge overlook the South Pass of Sumas Mountain!😅
Time for a five minute break!
Birds chirping, a light breeze….. is the Weather about to change?
