The Mrs is filling in at work for another worker on vacation.
The rain was on again, off again, so I thought I would explore a new trail on Sumas Mountain……..by myself……😁
Tomorrow my Mini-Split Heatpump is “supposed “ to be delivered, so today was the day to get lost in the Mountains Lol!
Like I said, new trail, I climbed……
T shirt weather down at the trailhead, I passed 100 uphill floors, and now I could see my breath in the now cold Mountain air.🥶
“Did you let anyone know where you were going Silvertop?🤔”
Hmm….. Bill, my youngest son was Ski Patrol at Mt. Baker, and I am sure he would have a few words to say to Dad about hiking alone in a new section of the Mountain, and not letting anyone know!
I paused, and Texted beautiful photos to Liz……. Honey I’m high up on Swift Creek trail.😇
I just got a heavy Weather alert on my phone Liz, T-storms rolling in about 4:00 PM, I am headed back down.🥰
“You know Liz, we really need to go back up this trail, I never got to the end of the trail”………………
