Trail Closed!!!😲
I was taking to one of my friends at Church this morning, and he told me he just hiked the Gold Mine Trail.
Then he told me the trailhead is closed!😮
I snapped these photos of tilled fields, and newly cut hay on our way home from Church, they were picture perfect!
Then Liz made a detour and we stopped at the Gold Mine Trailhead……….
In the first two photos you can see the trail to the right of the fence line.
This has always been on private property for decades. This is an extremely popular local network of Mountain trails, that go for many miles up into the Mountains.
Recently the owner decided he doesn’t want anyone hiking along his fence.
It is his land, and this trail does have other entrances several miles away, but it was sad to hear the news……
Then my friend told me that the property owner to the left, had a work party on the trail……
From the second photo you can see he re-fenced a second fence line on his pasture/property, essentially creating a walking path between the two fence lines.
How awesome that he is allowing hikers an access to the Gold Mine network of trails!🤗
Silvertop will need to research this new path and find out where we are allowed and where to park.
Today is Mother’s Day, so I will research another day………..😇

Another beautiful Sunny hike, and as we were returning home Marshall, a neighbor at the top of our road stopped to chat.
He asked us about Ziply internet, and he wanted to know if we got any speed from our connection.🤔
Silvertop could not help himself……….
“Marshall, have you heard of Bitcoin?”
“I am running Crypto miners, running 35 thousand sol’s per second!”
He let the genie out of the bottle Lol!🤣
Guys never pass up a good opportunity to talk Crypto!😇
Well Liz I’ve had my Crypto fix for the day, and a good hike…Lol!
