I really dont much gold at all. I would to own more but this silver has got me trapped hook, line and sinker. Every year the past 3years, i have said to myself when the silver dates runs are done, focus on gold sov's until the next years silver bullion coins are released. I always save up and end up comparing 2 gold sov's against a tube of 25 silver brit's. The silver norm wins but this year, noooo!!! When the silver date runs are complete, im buying sovereigns until the 2019 silver coins are released. 100%.
First gold i ever bought and im is beaten up. Heres google image instead, same same but different
I wanted to write a little extra on this one as it has a story. I brought this from member @britcoin around 5 months ago through a post he made. He is a memebr of thesilverforum also so we PM'd through there to complete the deal. He had asked for 350 Steem. At the time this cost me £390, i have paid huge fees to get BTC>Steem quickly. If this was now, that transaction would cost me around £340 with the knowledge i have gained since then. Anyways, i knew the coin had sold out at the Royal mint for £525 and i asked him why he was selling it cheaply. I knew it was real because he's done super discount deals on thesilverforum before. He answered back that he thought the 350 investment in Steem would be a better investment long term over the Gold sovereign was that selling for and still is £800 on eBay.co.uk. Pretty big claim i thought but made sense as Royal mont stuff seems to lose its premium after time. Its been 5ish months from our transaction
@britcoin and your hunch has paid off. 350 is worth around £1710 at time of writing. Well played old friend :)
