I research my past postings of 4 years for the 4th of July, and I showed coins or gave a contest. And I was wondering why.

I think I know why. It's because I get so busy and I am unable to take photos at all.

Just like this 4th of July...

I did get a few.

Smoked Brisket, and other meats.

I smoked a brisket. It came out good as always. I fired up several grills and got them all done in no time. I barbecued two types of sausages, pork chop and ribs.

The smoked brisket is tricky. There is the flat and the point. I have them separated here. Always cut against the grain.

Sushi Bake and Nori

Have I shown you how to make one?

I prepared a large tray of Sushi Bake. This was so popular!

Baked Salmon

Another dish that is so loved by everyone! I should have made another batch!

Vegetable Salad

Ummm... just to have it. Hahaha! I had other dishes, like potato salad, macaroni salad, spaghetti... didn't get photos of them.

Sever Layer Dip, salami, crab dip, cheese for the kids...

And there was the usual drinks!

And we had the usual fireworks. I wish I remembered to take photos!
