Those who follow me may remember that a friend gave me plumeria cutting from Hawaii.

Well, I planted it. Not in a pot, or the earth. I tried that before, and none of the plumeria I brought home from Hawaii survived.

I watch YouTube videos, and I found two videos that were unlike the rest.

So I decided to try the rooting method they suggested.

I used 75% potting mixture and 25% perlite, wet that just a bit, and placed it in plastic bags. Then I put the plumeria cuttings inside the bag and sealed it with tape, nice and tight!

I won't water it for three weeks and will keep it in a warm place, but away from direct sunlight.

Let us see if these plumerias will survive!

Benefits of Bag Rooting Plumeria Cuttings
Bagging root plumeria cuttings is a simple and effective method that offers several benefits over other propagation methods. One of the main benefits of this method is that it allows the cutting to develop roots in a protected environment, which increases the chances of successful propagation. The bag also helps to retain moisture, which is essential for root development. Additionally, the bag provides a stable and consistent environment for the cutting, which helps to prevent diseases and pests.
