Hello again!
It's Sunday once again. What else shall we do today other than attend Mass?
The disparity between the variety of breakfast available today and the limited amount of time we need to prepare it most mornings, at least during the week, is one of life's frustrations. Use the weekend to your advantage. Prepare some mouthwatering pancakes from scratch for you and your loved ones. The maple syrup must not be overlooked.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon white sugar
¼ teaspoon salt, or more to taste
1 ¼ cups milk
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg
Mix together the flour, baking soda, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Create a well in the middle, then add the milk, melted butter, and egg. Combine well.
Over medium-high heat, warm a skillet or griddle that has been lightly greased. For each pancake, use roughly 1/4 cup of batter, and pour or scoop it onto the griddle. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until bubbles start to form and the edges are dry. Cook the other side until browned. Repeat.
Why not spend the afternoon watching movies by yourself? You don't need much preparation because it's simple, soothing, and a lot of fun.
It is exactly what it sounds, a solo movie marathon afternoon. An afternoon of binge-watching many films, one after the other... most likely while indulging in munchies and your preferred beverage.
When you have nothing else to do or find yourself inside for some reason, it makes for a fantastic alone-time activity. Picking a theme to make the afternoon more enjoyable. Or watch a particular movie series. Even better, you can view the entirety of your preferred television shows. Just have fun!
