I was walking one afternoon. To dodge the heat of the sun, I picked a shady path. I figured the trees would have my back. It was quiet, except for the sound of my steps and the birds with their chirping.

Then this beam of light broke through the branches of the tree. It was just one patch. The sun found a crack, LOL! The path looked like a little stage, making everything around the sunbeam shimmer.

It was wild, how the light finds its way in!

I stood there for a while, kind of caught off guard. It felt like the world paused... Just me, the trees, and the ray of sunshine.
