Do you know about the oldest ship in the world, USS Constitution?

The USS Constitution, also known as Old Ironsides, is a wooden-hulled, three-masted heavy frigate of the United States Navy. She is the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat.

In 1794, US President George Washington had shipbuilders build five frigates (midsize warships) for the US Navy. One of these ships was the USS Constitution.

The USS Constitution is truly an American-made ship. It was built from 1500 trees which were cut from Georgia to Maine. The cannons were made in Rhode Island with some of the parts made by Paul Revere. Studies Weekly

APM USS Constitution Silver Trade Unit Round

1 OZ .999 Fine Silver, minted by the American Precious Metals.

On one side this silver round has a grand representation of the USS Constitution sailing the open sea. It is an inspiring design with a brilliant shine and vintage charm!

On the other side of this reeded silver round is a depiction of a balance flanked by wheat heads on the right and coins on the left, surrounded by the inscriptions “One Troy Ounce” and “.999 Fine Silver” to indicate its weight and silver content. On the outside, the words “Silver Trade Unit” capture the coin’s purpose. The mark of American Precious Metals, a small “APM” just beneath the scale, completes the reverse side.
